About me
Jingjing Ma
Visual Communication and Spatial Narrative Designer
Currently studying at the London College of Communication, University of the Arts London, majoring in Design for Branded Spaces. During my undergraduate studies, I developed a solid foundation in spatial storytelling, brand experience, and interactive design, completing a series of projects centered around emotional connection and immersive experiences, such as narrative space design, branded experience planning, and cross-media spatial experiments.
Throughout this process, I gradually expanded my creative interests, seeking to break the boundaries of a single medium and explore more integrated forms of visual storytelling. As a result, I decided to pursue interdisciplinary development and have been accepted into the Visual Communication MFA program at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where I will further explore cross-media and narrative design practices.
My work draws inspiration from Eastern philosophies and contemporary aesthetics, combining space, materiality, scent, and visual language to explore the subtle connections between sensory experience and emotional resonance. Alongside my independent creative practice, I interned at Hanwen Chuangxiang Cultural Communication in Beijing, participating in brand collaboration projects with Wacom China.
I am also the founder of Auspicious, a jewelry brand that transforms abstract philosophical ideas into wearable art through digital modeling and experimental materials. The brand emphasizes the emotional and narrative connection between the wearer and the piece.
Looking forward, I am committed to exploring the intersections between visual communication and spatial experience, building immersive works that foster emotional dialogue across global cultures.
